M15 Staying On Track

STAYING ON TRACK

Congratulations on making it this far! Whether big or small, you should feel proud of the changes you have made so far. With successful changes and new and improved habits, feedback can not only help you celebrate but also be more conscious in order to positively adjust with the change.

MONITOR YOUR SUCCESS

One of the most important tools to have to stay on track in order to keep moving forward is to monitor your changes. Feedback is incredibly important; tracking changes and seeing if they are helping and if they are working.

Use our Metabolism Tracker daily to increase self-awareness and become more cognizant of your behaviors, the changes you are making and the outcomes. Using the tracker will raise your awareness to the places you need to improve on most, keeping you motivated while holding you accountable. Monitoring your progress by staying aware of your daily Metabolic Efficiency Scores can also serve as an early warning system if problems are arising by seeing a downward trend in the scores.

Regular monitoring is an essential component to keeping your momentum going. It helps determine if your plan is working and allows you to have small celebrations along the way. Celebrating even the smallest success is important for supporting your commitment to change!

BE YOUR OWN CHEERLEADER

Remember, this is not about being perfect, it’s about slowly and incrementally doing things better than you were before; inch by inch.. With each inch forward, you’re heading towards the overall goal, making positive changes that will last forever.

Don’t focus on the times you don’t eat well or the things you don’t like. Celebrate the fact you’re doing this. Over time, you’ll learn to love the change and be more and more committed to the details.

USE YOUR COACH

Your coach is here to provide their expertise, but they are also here to be your coach. Ask them for help, tell them what you think and use them to get what you want.

Tell your coach how you are feeling and what changes you are noticing. What do you like, what don't you like? Are you sleeping better or longer? Do you have more energy or less fatigue? You are making a lifestyle shift. There are going to be changes. Acknowledge that, focus on your wins, and your coach will help you adapt your plan as needed going forward.

When you find yourself stuck or slipping, take a minute to reflect and remember your goals from when you started and your WHY or reason it is so important to you to get back on track. Making changes can be hard work and difficult for almost everyone.
