What do you really WANT to achieve? Is it time to take control of your weight or health? Complete your first 5k? Play with your grandkids? Do you want to feel or perform at your absolute best? Have more energy, stamina, or balance in your life? Once you have decided what you want, set a specific goal and share it with your coach.

FINDING YOUR WHY 

Emotion is the driver behind action, and it starts with a clearly defined purpose for change. Identifying WHY you want to change an important step in order to successfully reach your goals

What are the reasons your goals are important to you? Sometimes this happens as a result of a major event in your life, such as the death of a family member, divorce, bad report from a doctor, or a trigger that gets you to decide that now is the time to make some changes. It can also be a future event, such as a wedding date, a trip you have planned or an upcoming competition. 

What is your inspiration to do, be or have? What is going to motivate you to stay on track? When you make an emotional connection to your goal, your success rate increases astronomically!

When you have a purpose, your life has meaning. When your life has meaning, you will do things to make that purpose a reality. 

INCH BY INCH 

Change can take time; new habits do not usually form overnight.  Making healthier lifestyle changes can often be challenging, difficult and inconvenient. Focus on all that you have to gain, not what you have to give up.

Long lasting change occurs by making slow and steady improvements and changes which will naturally become habits. Take it one step at a time. One step leads to the next. Accomplish the task that is in front of you, not what is yards ahead. Inch by inch, it’s a cinch!
